Soup cures everything// Joe & Demi.

Sitting in her house all day had become pretty boring so Demi was happy to have someone come over to see her. She was also pretty happy for that someone to be Joe. Despite their breakup they’d still managed to be friends. Joe’d been their for Demi since day one. It all started with Camp Rock and ended here. It was safe to say that besides Selena, no one knew Demi quite like Joe did. Flipping through the channels on her tv, Demi heard a knock come from the other side of her front door. Getting up, she made her way across the living room. Opening the door, she’d gave Joe a smile. “Hey, Stranger!” she said as she stood back a bit allowing him to come into her apartment. To have him come by and bring her soup had meant a lot. They obviously hadn’t been as close lately as they’d been in past years but maybe it was time to fix that. She’d missed her best friend. “You are my savviorrr” she let out in a bit of defeat although she still managed to keep her smile seeing he had soup in his hand.

He smiled widely as he heard her say, ‘Hey stranger’. He questioned himself, wondering if it had been that long since they had last spoken, he shook his head moments later to clear his thoughts away and to focus on the present, not the past. He cocked his eyebrows at the way she said, ‘savior’ as if admitting he was one, was in someway hurting her. He kept his questioning expression as he walked past her and placed the soup on top of the living- room table. He looked around the room, moving his head this and that way. The place was now, he admitted to himself, and self noted to himself to tell her that a loud soon. After some time without saying anything gazing around her place, Joe averted his attention back to Demi. “You look nice” He said finally and gave her a large smile. “Not like you never do” Joe added with a wink.
